A picture is worth a thousand words. This phrase was our underlying motto while we worked on jwrdesign.com. JWR Design and Architecture deals primarily in ideas that words can not do justice to, so we didn’t try to describe the work, we simply showed it. JWR exemplifies how effective smooth flowing image galleries can be. Finally, everything on the site is under the direct control of JWR.
The true value of this site may not be readily apparent. Be not deterred! Simply put, this site was set up to be used by the employees of Berry Acres, thus the main part of the site that is updated and maintained is not available to the general public. Berry Acres deals with a large seasonal work force. As the farm has grown, so have the demands put on the staff that handles scheduling. Because shifts and crew requirement vary drastically on a day to day basis, Berry Acres expended considerable time keeping all the crew members up to date concerning scheduling information. This was primarily done via phone calls. Now Berry Acres posts the schedules online, and the employees no longer need to be called when there is a last minute shift change.
EAM.com was developed with a singular goal; make the bi-weekly price listings available to anyone who cares. This was a replacement for bi-weekly mass e-mails regarding prices. While the site also contains useful information, its primary purpose is conveying pricing information to the public. The Site is built around the Word Press engine, and has proven to be very reliable, as well as easily maintained.
